We are growing and need more outstanding people! In this role, you will work with our local, Special Services (SSD) team. Projects will vary from remodels to expansions primarily for industries such as food/dairy, healthcare, education and light industrial.

This individual must work well in a team and independently and will oversee the training of future apprentices.

This team is local to Beaver Dam, WI but may require limited travel to the immediate surrounding states.

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will have their Journeyman card or at least 5-6 years of commercial construction experience.
  • Proven experience as a carpenter with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  • Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to carpentry work.
  • Knowledge of roofing techniques and materials is an advantage.
  • Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and technical documents accurately.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that involve heavy lifting, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of carpentry tasks including framing, drywall installation, and finish work.
  • Execute caulking and construction painting as required for project completion.
  • Engage in concrete forming for foundations and other structural elements.
  • Install flooring materials with precision and attention to detail.
  • Conduct fixture installation, ensuring all components are securely fitted and functional.
  • Collaborate with team members to fabricate custom woodwork and other structures as needed.
  • Handle heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely and effectively.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Participate in restoration projects within the restoration industry, applying relevant skills to restore structures to their original condition.
