Description:

We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Mason/Bricklayer.

The ideal candidate has 5-6 years of experience, is an expert at their craft, and cares deeply about providing high quality outcomes and service to our clients.

This is a local position with our Special Services Division in Beaver Dam, WI.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Brick Mason or similar role in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in masonry techniques including bricklaying, concrete finishing, and hardscape installation.
• Familiarity with drywall installation and trim carpentry is a plus.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong blueprint reading skills to accurately interpret project plans.
• Experience in renovation projects is advantageous.

Responsibilities:

• Construct, repair, and maintain walls, floors, and other structures using bricks, concrete blocks, or stone.
• Interpret blueprints and drawings to determine project specifications and requirements.
• Mix mortar and other materials according to specifications for optimal adhesion.
• Perform masonry work on various projects including residential homes, commercial buildings, and outdoor hardscapes.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters and drywall installers to ensure cohesive project execution.
• Operate heavy equipment as needed for transporting materials or assisting in construction tasks.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
